Triangular-like Modular scaffolds ( Omega)
Triangular-like Modular scaffolds or omega scaffolds have been comprised of triangular-shaped frames which are connected to each other like buttonhole. These scaffolds are used in KOFRAZHBANDI of girder as well as bridges. Frame of these types of scaffolds are produced in heights in three 5%, 75% and 1 meters. These types of scaffolds can be regulated at any heights by placing head of regulating jacks in upper part of these scaffolds.
It should be mentioned that width of frames of triangular-like scaffolds measures 120 cm which can enjoy triangular horizontal and/or square sections.
Advantages of Using Triangular-Like Scaffolds:
- Easy assembling and disassembling, no need to spanner for fastening fittings and parts,
- Having strong power, holding very high freight on them due to having fixed diagonal parts,
- No need to hire skilled laborers while parts can be assembled even with unskilled workers,
Computations of Triangular-Like Scaffold:
If one triangular-like scaffold with square section, length of each angle of which measures 120 cm and maximum height is considered one meter, with due observance to this fact that vertical tabular dimension of these frames are is 50 mm while their thickness are measured 2.5 mm:
Freight and loading capacity of each base of scaffold: P= 4.4. ton
Loading capacity with consideration of square: 4 x 4.4 = 17.6 ton
